AIU Alumni Referral Grant

Atlanta, Chandler (Online), and Houston

Alumni often look back at their American InterContinental University (AIU) experiences as some of the most fulfilling and memorable of their lives. AIU has established the Alumni Referral Grant as a way to recognize AIU alumni and benefit students that they refer to the University.

Alumni who follow the process and refer a new student who meets the grant eligibility requirements will have a grant in their name awarded to the new student that they referred (e.g., John Smith Alumni Grant).  Once the student meets all eligibility requirements, the alumni will receive a certificate of honor confirming that the grant has been awarded.  An AIU graduate may refer a new student by filling out the Alumni Referral Grant form.

After meeting the grant eligibility criteria, the referred student receives a grant of up to $1,000 that is awarded proportionately over the next two quarters.  In addition to the AIU General Grant and Scholarship Conditions, students must also meet the following criteria.

Eligibility

  • Must be a first-time student who starts their program after the date the alumni referral form is submitted to AIU.  Students who have already started their program or who have previously taken one or more classes at AIU are not eligible.

  • Must complete one quarter (two sessions) before grant funds will be awarded.
