Professional Judgment
The Financial Aid Office may use what is called a “professional judgment” on a case-by-case basis to adjust a student’s cost of attendance, marital status, dependency status, or to update the data used on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA
®) to calculate the Student Aid Index (SAI) due to a change in your family or financial situation.
