AIU Chandler (online campus) is a member of the American InterContinental University System, which is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education.
AIU Atlanta is authorized by the State of Georgia to operate by the Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission, 2082 East Exchange Place, Suite 220, Tucker, GA 30084-5305.
AIU Houston is authorized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to offer degrees and courses leading to degrees in Texas.
The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) is an agreement among member states, districts, and territories that establishes comparable national standards for interstate postsecondary distance education. American InterContinental University is a member of the American InterContinental University System, which participates in the SARA through the Arizona SARA Council.
