MED 565 Literacy Instruction for K-12

This course will focus on the six basic components of literacy instruction; phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and writing within the K-12 classroom. The course will expose candidates to current theory on literacy with focus on practical applications in the classroom.
