MED 501 Learning Theory Foundations
This course provides an introduction to the various schools of thought on how people learn. The course will emphasize the practical implications of cognitive science. Learners will explore learning theories, such as cognitivism, behaviorism, and constructivism. Candidates will also develop a concept of professional behavior and performance appropriate to professional educators through an in-depth study of contemporary leadership issues and leadership theories.
