AIU Impact Grant
Offered at Online, Atlanta, and Houston
In collaboration with select, participating employers, AIU has established the Impact Grant to assist eligible students with the opportunity to attend AIU. To be eligible for the Impact Grant, a candidate must complete the Impact Grant Acknowledgment form and must allow for verification of eligibility. Verification of eligibility may require the student to submit documentation of proof of employment with a participating employer.
Students must meet the criteria set forth in the Terms and Conditions document along with the following:
- Students must be employed by an employer that has entered into a University Impact Grant Agreement with AIU at the time he/she completes the Impact Grant Acknowledgement form.
- Students selected for the employment verification must provide documentation before the grant is disbursed. Documentation must show the effective date of employment and must be submitted after employment.
- Additional conditions may apply based on specific Impact Grant Acknowledgement forms and based on specific conditions agreed upon between AIU and any individual participating employer.
- The Impact Grant can be combined with Post 9/11 GI Bill® benefits.
- The Impact Grant cannot be combined with any other Title IV aid programs, and participating students are required to waive Title IV participation as a condition of receiving the grant by signing the Impact Grant Acknowledgement ad Disclosure Forms.
The Impact Grant is only available for degree programs specified by the University; not all programs may be eligible. All of the above conditions must be fulfilled before the grant can be disbursed.
