Program Description

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree program combines the required General Education courses that can provide a liberal arts foundation with a coherent business core that is designed to provide a foundation for careers in business and management preparation for advanced study. The upper-division program builds on the lower division curriculum and provides an in-depth study in a selected area of focus including Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Marketing, Finance, Generalist, Healthcare Management, Le Cordon Bleu® Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Project Management, and Technology Management.

Program Learning Outcomes

  • Integrate knowledge of the core ACBSP business concepts of accounting, finance, statistics, economics, management, and marketing to assess business circumstances.
  • Propose quantitative business solutions which demonstrate critical and analytical thinking.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams utilizing effective business techniques and strategies.

Human Resource Management

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has acknowledged that the Bachelors of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management fully aligns with SHRM’s HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates. The HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates were developed by SHRM to define the minimum HR content areas that should be studied by HR students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The guidelines, created in 2006 and revalidated in 2010 and 2013, are part of SHRM’s Academic Initiative to define HR education standards taught in university business schools and help universities develop degree programs that follow these standards.
