Program Description

The Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) is a 180 quarter credit program designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and ability to pursue successful careers in the accounting field. The program culminates in a capstone experience from an accounting practice perspective. Core competencies in technology, critical thinking, and communication are emphasized throughout the curriculum.

 

Program Learning Outcomes
  • Employ understanding of financial, and managerial accounting, financial statements, and taxation based on the standards of GAAP and IFRS.

  • Collaborate in teams to solve complex accounting issues through effective business techniques and leadership strategies,

  • Evaluate accounting information systems and the flow of accounting data.

  • Navigate the global market with a perspective of cultural awareness and diversity.

  • Apply ethical and legal decision-making in accounting and business situations.

  • Convey relevant information to stakeholders to make informed decisions through clear and concise communications.
