Graduation with Honors

The Honors designations outlined below are effective for graduates as of April 23, 2024 or after. Honors information for graduates prior to this date may be found here.

Students in Associate and Baccalaureate degree programs are eligible for academic honors recognition upon graduation. The cumulative GPA at the time of conferral determines the honors designation:

Degree Level Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) Honors Recognition
 
Associate & Bachelor
3.50 to 3.69 cum laude
3.70 to 3.89 magna cum laude
3.90 or higher summa cum laude

Master's Programs

Master's students with a cumulative GPA of 4.00 at the time of conferral will receive the designation of graduating "with Distinction."

Note: Academic Certificate programs are not eligible for graduation with honors.
