Course Load
The normal academic course load is no more than 18 credits per quarter for undergraduate students or no more than 13.5 hours per quarter for graduate students.
A course overload occurs when a student requests to be scheduled for additional credits beyond the normal academic credit load within a given term. Course overloads require approval by Academic and/or Student Affairs. It is the student’s responsibility to discuss the financial impact of a course overload with Financial Services or Student Accounts. Students must have successfully completed one session and be in good academic standing to be eligible for a course overload.
