Internships
The opportunity to participate in University approved internships is an option available to bachelor-level students in all majors enrolled at the Atlanta or Houston ground campuses; students are encouraged to take advantage of this program.
Students participating in internships will forego the traditional classroom experience and earn credit toward their degree in an approved, off-campus program involved in practical education in the industry. There will be requirements for the submission of assignments and protocols associated with the approved Internship. Students interested in pursuing an internship should contact their Program Chair for more information.
Eligibility
To be eligible for an internship course, students must have:
- Completed a minimum of 135 credits hours or receive approval to register for the course by exception from their Program Chair.
- Earned a minimum cumulative grade point (CGPA) of 2.50, or receive approval to register for the course by exception from their Program Chair.
- Must not have successfully completed an internship for credit previously in their program.
