Student Records Retention Policy
AIU maintains permanent academic records for all students who attended the University. Once the faculty post grades, the students can see them in the gradebook area of the student portal. Withdrawn students are still able to access the portal even if they are not currently attending.
Student academic records include transcripts and information regarding credits earned, courses completed, grades awarded, degrees awarded, and periods of attendance. Any documents received by the University are retained as property of the University and will not be returned. This includes forged or altered documents.
