Unlawful Harassment

AIU is committed to the policy that all members of the University’s community, including its faculty, students, and staff, have the right to be free from unlawful discrimination in the form of sexual harassment by any other member of the University’s community. Should a student feel that he/she has been unlawfully harassed; the student should immediately inform the appropriate Title IX Coordinator. Unlawful harassment refers to behavior that is not welcome, personally offensive, or undesirable to the recipient. All students and employees must be allowed to work and study in an environment free from unsolicited and unwelcome sexual overtures and advances. Unlawful harassment undermines the employee, student, and University relationship, and it will not be tolerated. For related policies please refer to the Policy Against Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation located in this catalog.
