Institutional Effectiveness

AIU is committed to the continuous improvement of its academic programs and student services. Institutional Effectiveness is a comprehensive process used by the University that ensures the pursuit of quality improvements in a manner consistent with its mission and planning. Data is regularly gathered and assessed for the purpose of making improvements where needed. This information comes from a variety of sources, all of which emphasize the student as the focus. Students may be asked to contribute to this process through various types of assessment activities including surveys, focus groups, nationally standardized assessments, evaluations of instructors and courses, and other inputs that allow students a voice in institutional decision-making. The information gathered from these activities is used to improve the curriculum, support services, and the overall institution. AIU requests student involvement in the assessment process to further enhance the benefits to students and their educational experience.
